ART IN PARADISE – BANGKOK

Bangkok offers a variety of temples, shrines and cultural experiences that are uniquely Thai. Art in Paradise Bangkok is none of those things BUT when the sun is beaming and you are looking for a fun activity to do with your partner or family, this is a great place to get photo happy!

What is Art in Paradise?

Art in Paradise is a 3D art gallery along Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. Here, you can get creative and take photos with the different backdrops, paintings and props; making for an unreal photo.

What types of photos can I get?

With fantasy lands taken from Alice in Wonderland, rickety bridges over giant dark canyons, leaping or attacking animals and adventure scenes making you look like an Olympic snowboarder/surfer etc, you can get any type of photo you want.

In each section, you will find a sign which gives examples of other peoples photos, giving you an idea of how to take the perfect shot. Plus, look out for the stickers on the floor, they tell you where you need to stand to get the right angle.

Plus, you can also opt for a video of your experience, which includes moving parts of the photo. Download the app to get moving clips.

Where is Art in Paradise in Bangkok?

You can find Art in Paradise on the 4th floor of the Esplanade Shopping Mall. You can catch a taxi or Grab here but the quickest route would be via the MRT; the Thai Cultural Center MRT Station is just in front of the mall.

• Opening Hours: Daily from 10 am to 10 pm (we arrived for opening and had the place to ourselves)
• This is the ideal attraction to visit during a rainy afternoon in Bangkok or during 12 – 4 pm when the temperature and humidity are at its highest.
• We recommend planning 2 – 3 hours for your trip.
• There are 3 main rooms in the gallery with a few corridors and levels in between. You can move back and forth between the rooms so don’t worry about moving ahead then coming back if there is a particularly busy area.
• It is worth noting that there are toilets in the corner of the first room but these are the only facilities in the gallery.
• Tickets can be purchased on arrival but keep an eye on their facebook page, they often offer discounts, especially during holidays or special occasions.
• Ticket prices are 290 baht for locals and 400 baht for tourists. Having different prices is common practice in Thailand.
