Every major city in the world has a Madame Tussaud’s and Bangkok is no exception. We share our honest opinion in this Madame Tussaud’s Bangkok review, including the good, the bad and the ugly.
What is Madame Tussauds Bangkok?
Madame Tussauds is a worldwide museum franchise; sharing wax models of celebrities also from across the globe. These wax museums can be found in most major cities and offer fantastic opportunities for photos and fun!
The Madame Tussauds in Bangkok is very similar to others you will find elsewhere in the world; the big name celebrities can be found here from actors to sports stars, celebrities to royalty.
Something that stood out in the Bangkok Madame Tussauds, was the Asian celebrities and especially, the Thai royal family. The first few models reflected the Royal family of Thailand; a hugely important role in Thai society and an interesting area to appreciate and learn more about.
There are plenty of museums in Bangkok and this is a fun, enjoyable option for families, not too dissimilar to the popular Art in Paradise museum. It makes for a great day out but don’t expect to learn too much about the country’s history.

Madame Tussauds Bangkok Review
The Pros
- There is a fantastic inclusion of Thai celebrities and other Asian celebrities. The first section includes the Thai Royal family, you can see Asian singers, sports stars, and artists.
- A variety of celebrity types are included. They not include actors and singers, but also artists, sports stars, dancers, politicians, and business moguls.
- The price is fair. Tickets are 990B per person but can be partnered with a SEALIFE Aquarium ticket for just 1390B when tickets are booked online.
- The location is also great. The museum is located on the 4th floor of Siam Discovery Mall, not far from Siam Paragon. This means you can get a BTS easily to the mall, pair your visit up with a trip to Sealife Aquarium and enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants in the mall afterward.
The Cons
- The size of this museum isn’t huge. The experience takes around an hour to walk through, which is considerably less than other Madame Tussauds.
