The food and drink at Hemingways Bangkok
Hemingways caters towards a western audience, so expect fish and chips, Bangers and Mash and pizza to be the most popular dishes. They are a great cheese board and antipasto selection, both costing 790B and a selection of appetisers that can be enjoyed as a light snack or meal.
They do have some very tasty tacos, which they sell for a great deal on Mondays from 4pm until 9pm. Tacos are just 49B and Nachos are 99B, whilst margaritas are also 99B. This is our favourite night to head to Hemingways but they do have various happy hours throughout the week to take advantage of.

Our opinion on Hemingways Bangkok
We personally love visiting Hemingways when we are in the area. The greenery gives you great holiday vibes, perfect for expats living and working in the city but wanting to chill out and escape the hustle and bustle. The happy hour deals are fantastic but limited to certain days of the week. The food is tasty, but personally, we only ever go to this bar to enjoy the happy hours as their typical menu is a little overpriced. However, this is a very touristy area of the city so higher-priced drinks and food is to be expected.
We recommend a visit if you are in the area but you don’t need to go out of your way to visit if you aren’t staying or visiting this area of Bangkok.

- No matter where we travel to, I always take these trusty hand sanitizers and a mini first aid kit.
- We love these toiletry bags (especially great for smaller bathrooms) and choose a laptop bag like this as our hand luggage.
- We keep our devices charged on long travel days with these lightweight battery packs and bring these worldwide travel adaptors on all our trips.
